The holiday retreats held here are not "hair shirt" retreats. At the simplest level they are just a holiday, but they are more too. They are an opportunity to take time out from our normal routine and just BE.
An opportunity to get away from the bustle of everyday urban life, in which we can so easily lose ourselves.

A little observation and contemplation will reveal that we did not make ourselves.
Nature IS our true nature.
Psychologically we can separate ourselves in thought from our true nature, and that becomes our sickness.
On retreat holidays here, there is the time, space and environment for our attention to blossom in the present, where we will find our true nature.
What could be a finer purpose than that?
